Ellie Dix B.A. (Hons), PGCE
Ellie has been Director of Pivotal Education since 2004. She drives the development of the company and manages the growing team of staff that work from Pivotal HQ. Ellie is strongly focused on making sure that our behaviour training and support is available to as many people as possible, without losing the personal touch that makes Pivotal special.
Ellie works closely with partnerships of schools, multi-academy trusts and local authorities that want to change behaviour across a network of organisations or a whole geographical area. She supports organisations bidding for funding to accelerate behaviour change and also submits Pivotal bids for behaviour improvement projects. Ellie also heads up the marketing team and enjoys coming up with creative ways to spread the Pivotal message far and wide.
Prior to becoming a Director of Pivotal Education, Ellie studied Drama and Theatre Arts at Birmingham University, graduating in 1997. After finishing her PGCE, Ellie was appointed Head of Drama in a secondary school in Wolverhampton EAZ. Ellie is now studying for a BSc in Mathematics with the Open University in her ‘spare’ time.
And yes, Ellie is married to Paul. They have two sons.
