Jane Marr BA, PGCE
Senior Trainer

Jane is a fluent welsh speaker and a freelance trainer for Pivotal Education, after completing Levels 1 and 2 of the Pivotal Curriculum. Jane is a behavioural expert specialising in safeguarding, providing training for staff at a variety of levels. She also works with and supports organisations to improve their current safeguarding systems, including policies and procedures.

Educated at Loughborough University, Jane completed her undergraduate degree in PE, Sports Science and Recreation Management, and a PGCE in Secondary Education.

Throughout her 18 years in Education, Jane has held a number of senior roles within schools and the Local Authority. The LA roles have provided Jane with many opportunities to work with primary, secondary and special schools, as well as inter agencies and inter departments.

From 2011, Jane was the Education Officer and, more recently, Head of PRU for the Department of Lifelong Learning, Anglesey Council; responsible for Inclusion and the safeguarding of all lifelong services- including Youth Centres, all Schools and Libraries. She has implemented, carried out reports and created detailed action plans on Serious Case Reviews, Domestic Homicide Reviews and Child Practice Reviews on behalf of North Wales Safeguarding Board. Jane has also worked across North Wales with the Regional Attendance Intervention Team.

O 2011, Jane oedd y Swyddog Addysg ac, yn fwy ddiweddar, Pennaeth UCD ar gyfer yr Adran Dysgu Gydol Oes, Cyngor Ynys Môn; sy’n gyfrifol amGynhwysiant a diogelu pob gwasanaeth gydol oes – gan gynnwys Gwasanaeth Ieuenctid, yr holl Ysgolion a Llyfrgelloedd. Mae wedi gweithredu, cynnal adroddiadau ac wedi creu cynlluniau gwella manwl ar Adolygiadau Achosion Difrifol, Adolygiadau Dynladdiadau Domestig ac Adolygiadau Ymarfer Plant ar rhan Bwrdd Diogelu Gogledd Cymru.
