Collaborative Training Day – West Midlands

Please find HERE the programme for the one day Collaborative Training Day taking place at Walsall College on Thursday 2 March 2017. This event is funded by The Education and Training Foundation and is being delivered by AoC West Midlands and WMCETT – West Midlands Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training.

This Collaborative Training Day is a new CPD opportunity providing a chance for practitioners and managers to enhance their skills and knowledge in teaching, learning, assessment and behaviour management.

The morning will give you the opportunity to attend two workshops from a selection of four, on key topics important across the curriculum and run by subject experts.  In the afternoon delegates will have a choice of further effective practice case studies to attend.

This event will give you a chance to develop teaching skills, discover free resources and tips and learn from best practice examples from the sector.

  • discover innovative approaches to specific issues in FE from practitioner showcases.

One-day training event.

 

Entry Requirements

There are a series of workshops and you need to rank these in order of preference so that the event management team can ensure that as many 1st and 2nd preferences are met as possible. The workshops are:

1) Supporting vocational learners in English

2) Supporting vocational learners in Maths

3) Quick wins in technology-enabled learning

4) Behaviour management and promoting learner engagement.
